SICOLAMARTIN RANKED #7 IN BEST COMPANIES TO WORK FOR
IN TEXAS POLL
Second Year in Top 10 for Austin Advertising Agency
AUSTIN, TX - FEBRUARY 6, 2007 – Austin-based advertising and marketing agency, SicolaMartin, has been ranked #7 in a compilation of the top 60 Best Companies to Work for in Texas. This second annual program was created by the publishers of Texas Monthly, the Texas Association of Business (TAB), the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (TSC-SHRM), and Best Companies Group. SicolaMartin enjoys a second year in the top 10, moving up a notch from #8 in 2006.
The survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Texas, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. Sixty companies have been recognized this year and are included in a special section in the February issue of Texas Monthly. SicolaMartin is the highest rated Austin company on the list.

To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business;
- Be a publicly or privately held business;
- Have a facility in Texas;
- Have at least 25 employees in Texas.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Companies to Work for in Texas. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Texas with assistance from ModernThink LLC, who analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
