AUSTIN, TX - MAY 18, 2004
SicolaMartin today announced the firm has lowered Austin's unemployment rate by picking up three new additions to the company's dynamic, cutting-edge creative team. Jeff Joiner, Susan Snyder and Meghan Murphy are the latest of nine new hires by SicolaMartin since the beginning of the year.

Jeff Joiner becomes SicolaMartin's senior art director and is already working on advertising and design for two of the firms larger clients, BMC Software and Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. Joiner has a wealth of experience as an art director, having most recently served as senior art director at The Strausberg Group in Santa Monica, California. During his award-winning, eleven year career, Joiner has served as a senior art director or art director at some of the most well-known agencies in the country, including DDB Needham, Maris, West & Baker, Jackson, Sossaman, Bateman and Associates and Thompson & Company. Joiner received a BA from the University of North Texas School of Visual Arts.

Susan Snyder joins SicolaMartin as a senior marcom writer for BMC Software and Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. Snyder will work with clients to develop white papers, web copy, corporate brochures and any other copy relevant to the clients' marketing needs. Prior to joining SicolaMartin, Snyder served in a similar role at a variety of technology companies, including Vignette, Tivoli and Texas Instruments. Snyder received a Masters of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in English from the State University of New York in Albany.

Meghan Murphy joins SicolaMartin as an assistant E-marketing and media manager. Murphy, formerly employed by Tuerff-Davis Enviromedia as an account assistant, will assist in creating E-marketing and media campaigns for SicolaMartin clients such as BMC Software, SASOL, Oce, and McDATA. Murphy has worked with Wheeler Advertising and Group Bolton and sold advertising for the North Texas Daily Newspaper. Murphy holds a BS in Journalism from Texas A&M University.
