Gowalla asked us to deliver a high-impact video for debut at SXSWi that would help attendees of the interactive festival better understand what Gowalla is. Our idea? Pick a main character and have him experience “the greatest day ever.” Have him go different places, do different things and share it all with his friends. Quirky, fun and teeming with the Gowalla brand, it brought their geolocation-based story to life.

With a unique media buy comes a unique project. When AMD asked for an innovative 4-page insert in Wired magazine, our creative solution didn’t stop with the printed pub. We got to play with the Wired iPad app, as well. And with that came fun new territory of an embedded video placement. In keeping with the forward-looking content of the insert, we took the opportunity to interview one of tomorrow’s leaders about what she thinks the future holds.

When Dell wanted to promote the Dell UltraSharp™ monitor family, they knew their audience would respond to high-impact images and eye-stopping graphics. These best-in-class flat screen monitors would appeal to everyone from artists to engineers, for a variety of purposes, and so that was the approach we took.

Dell Partners needed a way to reach out to potential and existing customers and show them the many ways their business could take its own path with help from Dell. Knowing the can-do, entrepreneurial spirit most smaller businesses have, we created a fun, engaging video that would engage these unique customers and let them know that Dell Partners understand how they do business.

And then we did the… But we were also doing the… While we were working on the… Right smack in the middle of the… It’s hard to tell you everything we’ve been up to. Perhaps you should see for yourself.

How do you take a potentially complex product and make it approachable to K-12 teachers who are often intimidated by new technology? Put it in a classroom setting, show it in use, and let a smart, compelling student talk about the features and benefits. Throw in a little bit of 11-year old sass and there you have it.

While developing the new SicolaMartin brand, we developed several short animation tests to see how we might bring the new look and feel to life.

When First American wanted to launch their new company, CoreLogic, they needed a visual punch that would capture the world’s attention. We delivered with a launch video that announced the news, brought the new company’s visual identity to life, and started them down the road toward global recognition.

For many retail grocers, McLane is the supply chain advantage in action. But what exactly does that look like? The short answer can be found in our :30 video. It gives a quick glimpse of McLane’s entire grocery supply chain solution–covering everything from their industry expertise and friendly drivers to their modern distribution centers and innovative technology.

Increasingly aggressive in the monitor market, Samsung asked SicolaMartin to launch its new XL2370 monitor, featuring LED technology. We created a multi-channel campaign — online, print, and broadcast — that touted the monitor’s thinness, extraordinary image depth, dynamic contrast ratio, and its eco-friendly LED.

Dell’s suite of professional mobility support services, part of Dell ProSupport, is both extensive and complex. The company asked us to produce a video that explained these solutions, but they wanted something more than a traditional industrial video or PowerPoint presentation. Our solution was to create a highly-engaging animated piece driven by text, graphics and icons, narrated by a voice that parodies the instructional video genre itself.

We created this :45 second tradeshow loop for the Vantix booth at the 3PL Summit.

When the Austin Children’s Shelter had the opportunity for some free airtime, they wanted to make the most of it. This charming PSA was developed by SicolaMartin and Shiny Object to stop viewers in their tracks and share one child’s story of how the Austin Children’s Shelter changed their life. They key idea? It’s not only the big things the shelter does that matter—it’s how they provide life’s everyday “miracles”, too.

Every year we put our collective heads together to come up with an idea for our holiday greeting. In the past we’ve done flipbooks, calendars, even short films. In 2008 we decided it would be fun to try and tackle playing a song as a group, some of us not having touched our chosen instruments since high school.

We filmed all stages of the project, with various video devices, and cut together a short documentary that culminates in the grand performance. After completion, we built a small site for the video to live on and also sent it out to youtube and vimeo. RebelRebel assisted with the video shooting of the actual performance and we thank them. To kick off Sybase’s annual user conference, we created a video that showcases how their software impacts the way people live and work. Judging from the audience response, it was a rousing success.

AMD was looking to generate excitement surrounding its next-generation notebook platform (PUMA) at Computex. We relied heavily on AMD’s existing image assets, cut it to an upbeat audio track, and brought the highlights of the new platform front and center. The video was played at Computex just before the presentation given by CEO Hector Ruiz. We also created at 10 second version for use on the Web.

As part of a series of brand animations, we leveraged our previous work with AMD for their Smarter Choice lock-up. Once again, it turned out very cool. The animation features intriguing sound, motion and lighting effects to help AMD connect with consumers on a whole new level.
