<p>Gowalla asked us to deliver a high-impact video for debut at SXSWi that would help attendees of the interactive festival better understand what Gowalla is. Our idea? Pick a main character and have him experience &#8220;the greatest day ever.&#8221; Have him go different places, do different things and share it all with his friends. Quirky, fun and teeming with the Gowalla brand, it brought their geolocation-based story to life.</p>

But what if technology could actually make us more human? What if the way we interact with data was more aligned to how we naturally interact with another person? What if, instead of technology dictating how we behave, our behavior dictates how technology behaves? It would make us all little more human, now wouldn’t it?</p>
<p>That was not only the idea behind the AMD Fusion Family of APUs, but also the idea behind this 4-page <em>Wired</em> insert. And the iPad version of <em>Wired</em>? A spectacular, interactive insert with slideshow and video components, as well.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our location-based social networking client, Gowalla, is all about keeping up with friends, sharing the places you go and discovering the extraordinary in the world around you. To help their Austin employees take this message to the streets, we custom designed 28 bikes for them to ride around town. From wheels to tires, chains, cranks, seats and handlebars, with help from <a href="http://procycleworks.com/">Pro Cycle Works</a> we created the entire fleet from the ground up and had a blast doing it.</p>

<p>Dell Partners needed a way to reach out to potential and existing customers and show them the many ways their business could take its own path with help from Dell. Knowing the can-do, entrepreneurial spirit most smaller businesses have, we created a fun, engaging video that would engage these unique customers and let them know that Dell Partners understand how they do business.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Remember the old story of the cobbler&#8217;s children having no shoes? Well, in 2010, SicolaMartin realized that while we focused a lot of time on our clients brands, we had not updated our own brand to reflect the evolution of the agency. With the move into a new space and the launch of a new agency value proposition, we saw an opportunity to update our visual identity in a way that reflects the culture that has been a hallmark of our shop for many years. The new look incorporates colorful elements that represent the “Martian” culture of SicolaMartin – a fun, creative and unique way of looking at the world that focuses employees on taking their work seriously without taking themselves too seriously.</p>

Helping CoreLogic with all aspects of their launch, we executed a global campaign consisting of print materials, online deliverables—including video and web banners—and outdoor marketing as well as media planning and buying. We also developed customer outreach direct marketing, and worked on internal communications as well.</p>

<p>Dell had an interesting situation. When their sales reps were promoting flat screen monitors to clients, they tended to overlook the most obvious answer&#8230;that being a Dell. This in-your-face (and in your chair) seat drop was a gentle reminder about keeping the sales at home.</p>

<p>Increasingly aggressive in the monitor market, Samsung asked SicolaMartin to launch its new XL2370 monitor, featuring LED technology. We created a multi-channel campaign &#8212; online, print, and broadcast &#8212; that touted the monitor&#8217;s thinness, extraordinary image depth, dynamic contrast ratio, and its eco-friendly LED.</p>

<p>Dell&#8217;s <span>suite of professional mobility support services</span>, part of Dell ProSupport, is both extensive and complex. The company asked us to produce a video that explained these solutions, but they wanted something more than a traditional industrial video or PowerPoint presentation. Our solution was to create a highly-engaging animated piece driven by text, graphics and icons, narrated by a voice that parodies the instructional video genre itself.</p>
